Handmade by Yang Zelong, this silver ring features the "Taotie" motif from ancient Chinese bronzes.  Taotie is one of the nine sons of the dragon.  The mythical creature has only head but no body. Taotie is often seen motif on late Shang bronzes.  During ancient times, taotie shows fear and force to enemy tribes, provides protection to the owner tribe.

Yang Zelong just had his 30th birthday, but he already has 20 years of experience as a silversmith.  Taught by his grandfather, Yang Zelong started his apprentice training when he was 10.  He memorized hundreds of traditional designs by heart.  He has also created a series of elegant and simple modern designs.
