Bronze Vessel, 'Rhinoceros Zun (Wine Vessel)'

This is a replica of the bronze relic from Warring Period (457B.C. ~ 221 B.C.).  The wine vessel is in the form of a rhinoceros, covered with cloud patterns.  The vessel also has a lid on the back of the rhinoceros.  The original item was found in Shaanxi province, China, in 1967.  The Rhinoceros Zun is now preserved at Shaanxi Museum.  The cover on the back of the Zun is attached with an axle and can be opened.  Read more...
