This handmade pottery artwork is a duplication of a pottery container made in Han (B.C. 206 ~ A.D. 220). This type of vase was used to hang on the saddle as a water bag.
Created under ancient craftsmen diligent work and exquisite techniques, the pottery vase was baked in the kiln at a high temperature of about 900℃ ~ 1000℃. Two handles are set on the rim of the container.
Different graceful pictures painted on both sides of kettle, one is the holy bird – phoenix; a flying horse and phoenix are drawn on the other side.
