Bamboo Porcelain, 'Long Neck Vase'
The shape of the vase is one of the classic designs since Song Dynasty. The long neck and the expanded base shows elegance and grace. Different from other bamboo vases from Mr. Liu, he chooses to leave out part of the porcelain uncovered. The bare porcelain becomes a part of the pattern; the contrast between the bamboo and porcelain makes the vase more eye-catching.
