This painting is a portrait of Qing Dynasty Qian Long emperor (1711-1799) by unknown royal painter. Qian Long is one of the most well known emperors from the Qing Dynasty. He ruled the country for 60 years and is the longest ruling emperor in Chinese history. Qian Long was very good at painting, calligraphy and poetry himself. This portrait was painted in his late years.
