Silver Bracelet, 'Blessed' (pair)

This is a traditional style of Chinese children's bracelet.  It is the Chinese custom to have babies wear blessing bracelets to protect the children from evil spirits. Usually, children should wear bracelets in pairs. Every bracelet is carved with Chinese characters – “Chang Ming Fu Gui”, standing for the wishes of growing in peace and safe and being rich in future. The exquisite bracelet could adjust the size to fit with children’s wrists. And it also is adorned with two silver small bells and a silver lock. The small bells with ringing sound could lustrate misfortune and evil influence.
