The Mani stone is also known as the prayer stone in Tibetan Buddhism. The Tibetan prayer stones are pebbles carved with Tibetan Buddhism mantras. You can find them in a lot of places such as monasteries, holy mountains, lakeside, often in piles. People put the mani stones on the pile to offer their prayer to the buddha.
