Tibetant Pendant, 'One Eye dZi Bead'

This pendant has the dZi (pronounced zee) bead embedded in a copper base.  The dZi bead is one of most important and mysterious gem in Tibetan cultures.  dZi means "shine, brightness, clearness, splendor", and the bead is called "Heaven's Bead" in Chinese.  The bead has eye shaped patterns and other lines as decorations.  The number of eyes determine the value and meaning of the dZi beads.  The nine-eye dZi beads are believed to be the holiest and has tremendous power. 

One eye dZi bead like this pendant is also called the bead of light.  Tibetan people believe the bead can improve luck and intelligence and help you keeping a clear mind.
