With wings wide spread, holding weapons in both hands, the fierce looking guardian often appears in Nakhi ethnic group totems. About the artist, Cun liusan
Cun Liusan is a Yunnan Nahki (Naxi) native artisan. He lives in the old city of Lijiang,Yunnan Province, China. He specializes in wood etching. He first paint his wood plates in glossy solid colors or gradients of different colors. Then he uses it as a canvas, and etches his designs on. His designs are mainly about Nahki gods, guardians, and totems.
